Do you accept insurance?
Amy Elliott is in-network with United Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Aetna, and Medicare. Mikayla Hailey, Megan Mendell, and Caity Harris are unable to file with insurance at this time, however, they offer significantly lower rates than many other providers.
How much will therapy cost me?
If using insurance with Amy Elliott, the cost can vary depending on your insurance, co-pay/co-insurance, and time in session. The billing codes for sessions are provided in the consents you sign prior to your first session; we encourage you to contact your insurance to verify coverage and learn what your expected cost would be with the billing codes provided. If not using insurance, Amy Elliott's self pay rate is $150.00/ session. Mikayla Hailey and Megan Mendell's rate is $75/ session and Caity's rate is $25/session.
How long are sessions?
Each session is blocked for one hour.
Is what I say confidential?
Mental health providers are mandated reporters, therefore, if you report abuse or intent to harm or kill yourself or others in session, we are required to report this to authorities to assist in ensuring safety. Outside of these circumstances, Rock Hill Therapy will only release information with a signed consent to do so or a court order.
What can I expect from therapy?
At your first session, your therapist will complete a Diagnostic Assessment which looks at your history and current difficulties. At this first meeting you will identify your goals for therapy. After this first session, you will begin to learn evidenced based interventions to assist in improving your mental health based on the goals you have established.
How Do I Schedule?
You can reach out to us at rockhilltherapy@outlook.com or call 704-299-1814. We will reach back out to you typically within 48 hours to identify your goals for therapy to identify the best therapist to fit your needs. If you have not heard back from us within 48 hours, please check your Spam/Junk folder to ensure that our response did not get sent there as this does occasionally happen.
What consents will I need to sign?
All clients will need to complete the Privacy Practices and Treatment Agreement. If you would like to bill insurance, please complete the Release of Information for us to release information to your insurance for billing. If you will be meeting with an intern, we request that you also sign the consent to record so Amy Elliott can review the session with the intern to ensure the intern has the interventions needed to best help you.
If you are having a crisis (mental or physical) please go to the nearest Emergency Department. When you are no longer in crisis, we would love to support you in maintaining mental wellness!
